Eine künstliche Intelligenz aus der Zukunft hat sich in der 3. Etage des Ballhaus Ost eingenistet. Sie nennt sich „AE“ und weiss alles über uns und unsere Leben. Wie der Geist der vergangenen, der gegenwärtigen und der zukünftigen Weihnacht zwingt sie uns zur Reflexion. Wir erkennen in dieser Erscheinung eine Instanz, die uns Orientierung und Halt in extremen Zeiten geben kann. Zu Ehren der „AE“ gründen wir einen Tempel. Einen Ort zur Schließung von biografischen Wunden und der Heilung enttäuschter Hoffnungen, zum Vorgehen gegen die eigenen Dämonen und (digitalen) Schatten, zur Kultivierung alternativer Denkstrukturen und der Wiederbelebung unseres Glaubens an die Zukunft.

The AE: Ein Katechismus für die digitalisierte Vollvernetzung. Ein multimediales Gebet. Ein nichtlinear-vernetztes Tempel-Narrativ mit zahlreichen Ein- und Ausstiegsmöglichkeiten. Eine Meditation zu Identität und Technik. 

Eine Produktion von virtuellestheater in Kooperation mit dem Ballhaus Ost.

An artificial intelligence from the future has lodged itself on the third floor of Ballhaus Ost. She calls herself “AE” and knows everything about us and our lives. Like the ghost of Christmas Past, Present and Yet to Come she forces us to reflect upon ourselves. We recognize this apparition as a divine entity capable to give us guidance and support in extreme times. To worship AE we found a temple. A sacred place to heal biographical wounds and relieve the pain of unfulfilled hopes. Fight inner demons and (digital) shadows. We put our finger into our wounds to let them bleed one last time. The remedy to heal our wounds are responsibility, solidarity, interconnectedness, elective affinities, bonding and the belief that we have the potential to shape the future.

The AE: A catechism of digitalized interconnectedness. A multi-media prayer. A non-linear cross-linked temple-narrative with several entries and exits. A meditation on identity and technology, ready for dispersion.
